These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fasih mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by NRML ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using Fasih, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Fasih lets you listen to text content using text-to-speech technology, import or scan written material, browse a catalog of titles, and manage your personal library. Some features require a paid subscription or individual title purchase.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Fasih. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and purchases
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the App Store or Google Play at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- Per-title purchases grant access to specific catalog content as described at the time of purchase.
- Billing, refunds, and cancellations are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not process payments directly.
- Free-tier usage limits may apply. We may change plan features or pricing with reasonable notice where required by law.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of text and files you import. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service — for example, to generate audio, store your library, and sync progress across your devices.
You agree not to upload content you do not have the right to use, or material that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
6. Catalog content
Catalog titles are licensed for personal, non-commercial listening within Fasih. You may not redistribute, record, or commercially exploit catalog audio outside the app except where explicitly permitted.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service or its APIs
- Circumvent usage limits, access controls, or payment requirements
- Use the Service to harass others or distribute malware
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person
8. Third-party services
Fasih relies on third-party providers for authentication, speech synthesis, analytics, and payments. Your use of those features may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies.
9. Intellectual property
Fasih, its branding, software, and design are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or underlying technology except as needed to use the Service.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect transcription, or that generated speech will be error-free. AI-generated voices and imported text may contain inaccuracies.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Fasih. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
12. Termination
You may stop using Fasih at any time and delete your account from the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted in the app or on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local consumer protections apply.
