This Privacy Policy explains how NRML ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Fasih mobile application and related services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Account information
- Email address and authentication identifiers when you sign up
- Profile data such as display preferences, listening goals, and content interests you choose to save
Content and usage
- Text, links, files, or photos you import for listening
- Library items, playback position, and listening history
- Voice selections and custom voice preferences
- Monthly usage counts for free-tier features (imports, scans, minutes)
Purchase information
- Subscription status and owned catalog titles (processed via RevenueCat and Apple/Google; we do not receive full payment card details)
Device and analytics
- Device type, operating system, app version, and crash diagnostics
- Product analytics events (e.g. screens viewed, feature usage) via RudderStack and, where enabled, Meta App Events
- Advertising attribution data only if you grant tracking permission on iOS (App Tracking Transparency)
2. How we use information
We use your information to:
- Provide text-to-speech, library sync, and catalog access
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure
- Enforce subscription entitlements and usage limits
- Improve performance, fix bugs, and understand how features are used
- Respond to support requests and legal obligations
3. How we share information
We share data with service providers that help us run Fasih, including:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage
- ElevenLabs — speech synthesis for your content
- RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
- Apple / Google — sign-in and in-app billing
- RudderStack — product analytics routing
- Meta — app event measurement when enabled
- OpenAI / Firecrawl — OCR, text extraction, and URL import processing
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or billing purposes.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Your choices
- Account deletion — available in Profile → Delete account
- Subscriptions — manage or cancel in App Store or Google Play settings
- iOS tracking — control via Settings → Privacy → Tracking
- Marketing — we do not send promotional email unless you opt in
7. Children's privacy
Fasih is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data and we will delete it.
8. International users
Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We take steps designed to protect data consistent with this policy.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version in the app and update the date above.
